Since the current NHS Market Entry regulations came into force in 2012, PSC have successfully secured new pharmacy contracts. We have opposed competitor applications for numerous retained clients and we have worked with clients on the NHS Pharmacy Contract applications.

NEW PHARMACY CONTRACT APPLICATIONS

  • Initial evaluation

    Complete an initial evaluation of the opportunity identified and provide a view on the likelihood of success.

  • Site visit

    Carry out a detailed site visit and provide a report with our recommendations.

  • Application form and supporting documents

    Prepare all application paperwork including detailed supporting documents and submit to relevant bodies.

  • Fitness to practice

    Complete Fitness to Practice documentation where required and submit as necessary.

  • Third party comments

    Respond to all third party comments made in relation to the application.

  • Appeal process

    Prepare a comprehensive appeal where required and respond to representations made by third parties.

  • Oral hearing

    Provide representation at an Appeal Authority oral hearing where required.

If you have been notified of an application for a new contract or a relocation by an existing contractor which you believe may affect your business contact us immediately.  There is a limited time in which to respond that cannot be extended so it is imperative that you act without delay.

    Provide an initial objection letter dealing with the key points raised by the applicant.

    If the application is successful prepare a comprehensive appeal where required and respond to representations made by the applicant.

  • Oral hearing

    Provide representation at an Appeal Authority oral hearing where required.
