#PSC10YearsTrading

After many years working in the pharmacy sector for large multiple companies, Martin and Kevin founded Pharmacy Advice and Consultancy Services (PACS) in August 2011 and started trading in October that year.

We started small, with our first piece of paid work being a pharmacy valuation for a long-standing contact in the West Country.  That eventually led to the sale of a local pharmacy group a few years later which proves small beginnings often leads to bigger and better things. We’ll tell the full story in our year 4 update.

In our first year, health centre pharmacies were the most sought-after commodities in the market, and we worked with a large medical centre developer to secure two new 100-hour contracts for proposed new surgeries.  Sadly, as often happens with these projects, one of the health centres never got off the ground for funding reasons. However, the second one did, and the pharmacy is still going strong! The owners then managed to “replace” the 100-hour contract with a nearby 40-hour contract.  Even though we can’t claim that one, replacing 100-hour contracts would become a service that we would become experts in over the ensuing years.

Although we have changed our logo two or three times over the last 10 years and rebranded in 2015 to Pharmacy Sales and Consultancy (PSC), the one thing that hasn’t changed is who we are and what we do.

Our core services have always been pharmacy sales and NHS market entry regulations and everything we do is managed personally by one of the two directors.
